On your marks, set, sparkle!

Ok so we have nearly got January out of the way (and along with it hopefully the January blues) everyone’s finally got paid and can start smiling again. Yes the weather may be cold but in the distance, what’s that I can see…?? Oh yes festival season is finally on the horizon!!

If you are anything like me you will be absolutely buzzing for the summer ahead and with the choice of festivals we have here in the UK we really are being spoilt, let alone the ones that are further afield. Weekends of being in your favourite field making new friends, dancing, adventures and a cider (or ten!) are in the not too distant future.

Now is the time to start planning, putting down your deposits, booking time off work (don’t forget those extra days for recovery ;)) and last but not least..the most exciting bit….deciding what you and your girl gang are going to wear. Whether its glitter, feathers or flowers that float your boat there will be a look to suit.

Some festivals such as Boomtown & Bestival have a fantastic fancy dress theme and this can be great to be involved in especially if you fancy playing a character and completely immersing yourself.

I like to have at least one different outfit change for every day (two if I have the time #wardrobechangedarling) but this is all weather dependant obviously, you can’t trust the UK or the MET office for that matter! Come rain or shine though you wanna make sure that you stand out and are looking fierce!

My outlook for the summer ahead so far:

I’m mixing it up this year and going to three festivals that I have not yet been to and I cannot wait to see the vibes instore and the trends ahead this summer.

Whether you are a seasoned festival goer or you are just about to head to your first one, hit me up in the comments section and let me know where you and your girls are headed to this summer and what outfits you have planned!

xXx
